Pans for electric cooking hobs
All new pans can be used when cooking on electricity or gas. The cooking plate is heated by electricity and passes through the pan. Because the electric plate slowly gets warm, it is not the most efficient way of cooking.
Bottom surface of the pan
Because the bottom surface of the pan is heated, it is important that the bottom is completely flat. This is increases the efficiency of the heat transfer. When you switch from cooking on gas to cooking on electricity it is important to check whether the bottom surface is still flat. A better idea would be to buy good pans to start off with! We only sell quality pans that do not bend.
